LATEST: Abingdon CAR-nival 2020 postponed

From the Event Director, Barry Guess, on 24 March 20:

Subject: Abingdon Motorsport CAR-nival

I am sure most of you are wondering where we stand regarding the 2020 Abingdon Motorsport CAR-nival planned for 6th / 7th June.

Following government announcements and guidelines from Defence Infrastructure Organisation advising the suspension of 3rd Party Casual Uses of MoD property until 1st July, sadly we have no option other than to postpone the event.

I am working with Dalton Barracks to establish a potential target date for a re-arranged event (as well as a new date for the Long Course Sprint) and I would urge those of you who attended the initial planning meeting to give thought to the issues and tasks raised at the meeting, particularly with regard to stage layouts.

Please look after yourselves and keep in touch via social media or email.
Best regards
Barry Guess
