Abingdon CAR-nival – 9th & 10th June 2018

3 Disciplines, 2 Days & 1 Venue

Like a lot of events, Abingdon Motorsport CAR-nival was started by a stupid idea over a cup of coffee at a Bentley Owners Club Sprint way back in 1997 – Since then, it has now grown into one of the largest and most popular clubman motor sport events in the country.

There’s a unique 2-course sprint for 150 cars, a championship autosolo, an 88 mile stage rally and so much more….

2017 Winners

Graeme Bell – Rally

With thanks to Sutton & Cheam Motor Cub who are running their Long Course Sprint at the venue at the same time as our Solo. Hence, there are restrictions on entry and exit times for the site and movement around the site. S&CMC are expecting an entry of 120 cars for their Sprint. Effectively, as a competitor in the Solo, you will need to be in the venue by 0800; the gate will be locked at 0830. The location of the entry gate will be notified in the Final Instructions Part 1, but will be in the vicinity of OX13 6JH.  Invited clubs are listed in these regulations, or if joining FDMC to enter, there’s an application form on our website, to be submitted with your entry. And there’s a reduced entry fee for drivers under the age of 21 – see Section 9. Please note the closing date for entries is Tuesday 3rd April – any entries sent AFTER Friday 30th March incur an additional £5 (so get in quick). Note that the exhaust silencing requirements in Section 5 will be strictly enforced.

We look forward to another great event, thank-you for your interest, the FDMC Organising Team.
